Privacy Policy

GTPS is an unofficial, community-run Growtopia private server and is not affiliated with Ubisoft. This policy explains what personal data this website (growtopiaps.com) collects when you apply for a staff position, and how it is used.

What we collect

• If you sign in with Google: your Google account ID and your verified email address. We request only the openid and email permissions. We never receive your password, contacts, files or any other Google data.
• If you sign in with Discord: your Discord user ID, username and display name. We request only the identify permission. We never receive your password, email, servers or messages.
• Your application: the answers you submit, the Discord user ID you type (Google sign-ins only), and the date of submission.
• Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and your IP address, which is used to prevent abuse and may appear in our server's security logs. Session cookies expire after 12 hours or when you log out.

How we use it

• To identify you securely and make sure each account submits only one application.
• To let our staff review your application and contact you on Discord.
• To protect the website against abuse.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Applications are visible only to a small number of authorized staff reviewers.

Storage and retention

Applications are stored in a private database on our server and are kept so that each account can apply only once, including after a decision has been made. Sign-in tokens from Google or Discord are discarded (revoked) immediately after your identity is confirmed and are never stored.

Your choices

You can log out at any time. To ask for a copy of your application or to request its deletion, contact us through a support ticket on our Discord server. Please note that if your application is deleted, the one-application limit for your account may no longer be enforceable.

Signing in uses Google or Discord. Their own privacy policies apply to what you share with them: Google Privacy Policy, Discord Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
